Currently our training is all virtual (Apart from Module 10B face-to-face Assessment) but that does not stop you completing your training needs ready for returning to face-to-face Scouting. 

​

The following modules need to be completing within the first five months of your appointment:

​

  • Module 1 – Essential Information

  • Safety (To be repeated every three years)

  • Safeguarding (To be repeated every three years)

  • GDPR

  • Trustees Introduction

  • Module 3 – Tools for the job (Section Leaders)

  • Module 4 – Tools for the job (Managers Trustee Introduction Executive Committee members)

Module 1

This Module is Essential Information with the aim to provide all Adults in Scouting with the essential information they need to get started in their role.

Safety

The aim of this module is to provide all adults in Scouting with an understanding of safety practice and responsibilities as a member of Scouts, to keep everyone safe.

Safeguarding

The aim of this module is to provide all adults in Scouting with an understanding of safeguarding practice and responsibilities as a member of Scouts, to keep everyone safe.

GDPR

The aim of this module is to provide all adults in Scouting with an understanding of what the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) means for them, their Scout Group, District and County.

Trustee Introduction

The aim of this module is to provide the Charity or managing Trustees with information on their legal responsibilities and current regulations. You only need to complete this module if you have a role as a trustee / Executive Committee member.

Module 3

The aim of this module is to provide the basic information on the individual’s role or area of responsibility and some practical help to get the individual started in the role.
